The health, safety and well-being of all of our pupils, staff and visitors to Newstart Education Centre is our highest priority.
We have followed advice provided by the Public Health Agency (PHA) and the Chief Medical Officer, and will continue to do so.
Newstart Education Centre is in daily contact with the Education Authority and following advice from and the Department of Education. All staff have been issued with mobile phones and will be in daily contact with all students. Please use the numbers provided in the work packs that were delivered on the 23rd March should you need any further assistance.
To minimise the risk of COVID-19 to our EOTAS Centre community. Please follow the PHA advice at all times:
- Wash your hands regularly with soap and water.
- Use tissues for coughs and sneezes, dispose of tissues carefully in a bin, then wash your hands.
- Self-isolate if you have been in contact with someone with the virus.
These are times of uncertainty for everyone and we will do all we can to help. Our student portal will be open to all with resources that have been uploaded by all our teaching staff which you can access wherever you are.
Please inform the Centre Manager if there are any changes to your contact details including telephone number and email address. Please ensure that you maintain contact with the Centre Manager or your young person’s Key Worker should there be any health concern with your young person.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
